Consultation has concluded. 

At its April 2024 Ordinary meeting, Council resolved to adopt the updated Naming and Addressing Policy.

This policy standardises the naming of roads, bridges and places in the Ballina Shire to ensure that the process is transparent, understandable and, if appropriate, provides opportunities for community consultation. A consistent approach also benefits emergency services, transport and goods delivery.

The draft policy will be publicly exhibited for 28 days.
