At its August 2026 Ordinary meeting, Council resolved to adopt the updated Beach Debris Management Policy.

The objectives of this policy are:

  1. To preserve the natural processes and environment on coastal beaches and foreshores; and
  2. To provide guidelines for the management of beach debris on coastal beaches and foreshores

The draft policy will be publicly exhibited for 28 days.
