At its August 2025 Ordinary meeting, Council resolved to adopt the reviewed Burials on Private Rural Land Policy.

The objective of this policy is to provide guidance for Council and the community on the applicable process and key considerations when authorisation of a burial on private rural land is sought.

The policy will be publicly exhibited for 28 days. Have your say on this new policy by completing the survey below.
