At its May 2026 Ordinary meeting, Council resolved to adopt the updated Councillor Training and Development Policy.

This policy aims to facilitate induction and training opportunities for Councillors to increase their levels of knowledge and expertise recognising that this investment will enhance the effectiveness of the Council's performance in achieving its goals.

The draft policy will be publicly exhibited for 28 days.
