Ballina Shire Council is drafting a new 10-year Community Strategic Plan (CSP) to guide decisions on the services, infrastructure, and projects that matter most to our community.
This plan captures the aspirations and priorities of residents, businesses, and groups, ensuring Council’s actions align with community needs and values.

Community Survey
Council has already conducted a random survey of 500 residents to gain statistically reliable insights into community priorities. Now, the Community Survey is open for everyone to have a say. This is your opportunity to share what matters most to you, provide feedback on service delivery, and help shape Council’s focus for the next 10 years.
Youth Engagement
Recognising the unique needs of young people, Council has partnered with the Advocate for Children and Young People (ACYP) to create a Youth Survey written by youth, for youth. Designed for residents aged 10 to 24, this survey empowers young people to share their ideas and priorities for the future.
By working directly with schools, sports groups, and youth organisations, Council has ensured young voices are heard. If you haven’t had the chance to complete the survey, you can do so online.
Have your say by completing the survey by Monday 3 February 2025 or share your ideas below:
