At its August 2026 Ordinary meeting, Council resolved to adopt the updated Filming on Public Land Policy.

The objective of this policy is to facilitate commercial filming on public land as required in the Local Government Filming Protocol 2025. Further, to promote balance between community interests, environmental, cultural and heritage protection and economic development.

The draft policy will be publicly exhibited for 28 days.
