At its June 2024 Ordinary meeting, Council resolved to adopt the updated Financial Assistance (Hardship) - Rates and Charges policy.

The Financial Assistance (Hardship) - Rates and Charges policy provides financial assistance to ratepayers who are experiencing genuine and significant financial difficulties in paying their rates and charges; and a decision-making framework for the consistent and equitable determination of all financial hardship applications.

The draft policy will be publicly exhibited for 28 days.
