At its June 2026 Ordinary meeting, Council resolved to adopt the updated Financial Assistance (Hardship) - Rates and Charges Policy.

This policy aims to provide financial assistance to ratepayers who are experiencing genuine and significant financial difficulties in paying their rates and charges and to provide a decision making framework for the consistent and equitable determination of all financial hardship applications.

The draft policy will be publicly exhibited for 28 days.
