At its August 2026 Ordinary meeting, Council resolved to adopt the updated Financial Assistance - Ranger Fees (Companion Animals and Seized Unattended Items) Policy.

The objective of this policy is to provide financial relief for customers experiencing genuine and significant financial difficulties in paying fees and charges associated with companion animal management and seized unattended items in public places.

The draft policy will be publicly exhibited for 28 days.
