Consultation has concluded
Ballina Shire Council is proposing to grant a Licence for part of land known as Kingsford Smith Reserve, Ballina, classified under the Local Government Act 1993 (‘the Act’) as ‘community’ land. The details are as follows:
Tenant Tintenbar East Ballina Cricket Club
Location of Property Part of Kingsford Smith Reserve (on part of Lot 7064DP 1118403 as outlined in black on the plan)
Purpose
This building will be licenced for storage purposes.
(Note: This is a proposed new lease to the existing tenant).
Term of Lease Four (4) year lease.
As the land is classified as Community Land, in accordance with the provisions of the Local Government Act, interested persons are invited to make a submission below with respect to the granting of the licence.
Where a submission is an objection, the grounds of objection must be specified. All submissions, including any personal information, will become publicly available and will be made available to the applicant and interested members of the public. Submissions may be included in Council’s business paper and provided to the Minister for Local Government.
Submissions closed: 4.30pm Wednesday 13 September 2023.
