Proposed Lease of Community Land - Ballina Rugby Club Inc

Ballina Shire Council is proposing to enter into a lease agreement for occupation of part of the land known as Quays Reserve, which is on land classified as community land under the Local Government Act 1993 (‘the Act’).

Tenant: Ballina Rugby Club Inc

Location of Property: 'Quays Reserve' clubhouse being part of Lot 62 DP263861 known as 96-98 Kalinga Street, West Ballina

Purpose: Rugby Union Club

Term: Four (4) year lease

As the land is classified as Community Land, in accordance with the provisions of the Local Government Act, interested persons are invited to make a submission in writing with respect to the granting of the proposed lease.

Where a submission is an objection, the grounds of objection must be specified. All submissions, including any personal information, will become publicly available and will be made available to the applicant and interested members of the public. Submissions may be included in Council’s business paper and provided to the Minister for Local Government.
