Ballina Shire Council is proposing to enter into a lease agreement for occupation of part of the land known as Kentwell Community Centre which is on land classified as ‘community’ land under the Local Government Act 1993 (‘the Act’).

Tenant: CPL - Choice Passion Life
Location: Part of Kentwell Community Centre known as Office 3 located at 20 Bangalow Road, Ballina (on part Lot 246 DP755684) and part of Kentwell Community Centre knows as the Bernice Kentwell Room located at 20 Bangalow Road, Ballina (on part Lot 246 DP755684)
Purpose: Provision of services and day programs related to functions of CPL. (Note: this is a proposed new lease to an existing tenant at the centre)
Lease Term: Two (2) year lease with two x two year options
As the land is classified as Community Land, in accordance with the provisions of the Local Government Act, interested persons are invited to make a submission in writing with respect to the granting of the proposed lease.
Where a submission is an objection, the grounds of objection must be specified. All submissions, including any personal information, will become publicly available and will be made available to the applicant and interested members of the public. Submissions may be included in Council’s business paper and provided to the Minister for Local Government.
