Ballina Shire Council is proposing to enter into a licence agreement for occupation of part of the land known as Lumley Park which is on land classified as ‘community’ land under the Crown Land Management Act 2016 and Local Government Act 1993 (‘the Act’).


Tenant: Alstonville Tennis and Pickleball Club Incorporated

Location of Property: Part of Lumley Park being part of Lots 333 DP755745 and 7004 DP92641 (2 Pearces Creek Road, Alstonville)

Purpose: Tennis and pickleball club (Note: This is a proposed new licence to the existing occupant)

Term: 12 months


As the land is classified as Community

Ballina Shire Council is proposing to enter into a licence agreement for occupation of part of the land known as Lumley Park which is on land classified as ‘community’ land under the Crown Land Management Act 2016 and Local Government Act 1993 (‘the Act’).

As the land is classified as Community Land, in accordance with the provisions of the Local Government Act, interested persons are invited to make a submission in writing with respect to the granting of the proposed licence.

Where a submission is an objection, the grounds of objection must be specified. All submissions, including any personal information, will become publicly available and will be made available to the applicant and interested members of the public. Submissions may be included in Council’s business paper and provided to the Minister for Local Government.
