Ballina Shire Council is proposing to enter into two Licence Agreements for occupation of land which is classified under the Local Government Act 1993 (“the Act”) as ‘community’ land. The details are as follows:


Tenant: Ballina Allstars Athletics Incorporated (INC9889767) (formerly Ballina Little Athletics Incorporated)

Location of Property: Part of Chickiba Park sports field and part of the existing sports amenities building located at Chickiba Park, 86 Chickiba Drive, East Ballina (Part of Lot 207 DP 851318 as outlined in black on the plan).

Purpose: Sports amenities and storage of sports equipment. (Note: These are new licences to an existing

Term: One year licences.


As the land is classified as Community Land, in accordance with the provisions of the Local Government Act, interested persons are invited to make a submission in writing with respect to the granting of the proposed licence.


Where a submission is an objection, the grounds of objection must be specified. All submissions, including any personal information, will become publicly available and will be made available to the applicant and interested members of the public. Submissions may be included in Council’s business paper and provided to the Minister for Local Government.
