At its August 2026 Ordinary meeting, Council resolved to adopt the updated Restricted Access Vehicles (RAV) Accessing Local Roads Policy.

The objective of this Policy is to establish a consistent, transparent and risk-based framework for assessing, determining, documenting and responding to Restricted Access Vehicle (RAV) access requests on roads managed by Ballina Shire Council.

The draft policy will be publicly exhibited for 28 days.
