At its June 2026 Ordinary meeting, Council resolved to adopt the updated Social Media Policy.

This policy aims to underpin the principles of social media engagement by Ballina Shire Council. These include: Openness, Relevance, Accuracy and Respect.

The draft policy will be publicly exhibited for 28 days.
