Stage 2 – Torrens Title subdivision (CURA B Stage 1) and associated infrastructure, comprising:

  • 233 residential Torrens title lots (including super lots for future subdivision)

  • 1 x Aboriginal cultural heritage lot

  • Collector road network
  • Civil infrastructure comprising new roads, footpaths, stormwater drainage pathways and essential services including sewer mains & pump station, drinking water mains, recycled water, temporary water reservoir
  • Associated earthworks comprising 1,117,880m3 of cut and 1,126,300m3 of fill
  • Vegetation management works including the clearing of 85.27ha of native vegetation
  • Landscaping and revegetation / rehabilitation works

In accordance with Schedule 1 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979, Notice is hereby given that the following nominated integrated development application has been lodged for Council’s assessment and determination. Submissions close Friday 12 December 2025.

The subject development application and associated documents may be viewed on Council’s DAs online Ballina Shire Council - Application Tracker.

The development is classified as "nominated integrated development" for the purpose of Section 4.46 under the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 as it requires a Controlled Activity approval from the Department of Planning and Environment-Water under Section 91 - Water Management Act 2000.

Please Note: The Northern Regional Planning Panel is the Determining Authority for this Development Application. Should you make any submission in relation to this application that submission will be made available to the Northern Regional Planning Panel for their consideration and may be viewed by other interested persons.
