Planning Proposal BSCPP 22/010
This planning proposal seeks to amend BLEP 2012 to permit with development consent dual occupancy (attached) development.
The planning proposal will achieve this by:
Permitting with development consent dual occupancy (attached) development on certain lots having a minimum area of 900m2.
Introducing a special bushfire risk clause applicable to dual occupancy (attached) development located on bushfire prone land at Wollongbar.
Amendments to Ballina Shire Development Control Plan 2012 (BSDCP2012)
BSDCP2012 amendments propose to apply existing dual occupancy (attached) provisions currently applicable in Alstonville to also apply in Wollongbar. These provisions are contained within Chapter 2 – General and Environmental Considerations, Chapter 3 - Urban Subdivision, and Chapter 4 – Residential and Tourist Development.
Persons making a submission may need to disclose political donations/gifts provided to a Councillor or Council employee. Significant penalties apply for non-disclosure. For further information visit the Department of Planning and Environment’s website planning.nsw.gov.au
