Consultation has concluded

At its February 2024 Ordinary meeting, Council resolved to exhibit the updated Commercial Use of Footpaths Policy with some additional amendments.

This policy provides guidelines for the process commercial operators can follow in applying for an approval to use part of the adjoining footpath for street vending the display of goods or a footway restaurant; the design criteria for assessing applications; and the standard approval conditions that will be imposed in the Ballina Shire.

The draft policy will be publicly exhibited for 28 days.
