Consultation has concluded
Ballina Shire Council is proposing to grant a Licence for part of land known as Kingsford Smith Reserve, Ballina, classified under the Local Government Act 1993 (‘the Act’) as ‘community’ land. The details are as follows:
Licensee
Ballina Seagulls Football Club
Location of Property Part of Kingsford Smith Reserve (on Lot 153DP 1098090).
Purpose
This building will be licenced for the sports amenities building.
(Note: This is a proposed new licence to the existing licensee).
Term of Licence 12 month licence.
As the land is classified as Community Land, in accordance with the provisions of the Local Government Act, interested persons are invited to make a submission below with respect to the granting of the licence.
Where a submission is an objection, the grounds of objection must be specified. All submissions, including any personal information, will become publicly available and will be made available to the applicant and interested members of the public. Submissions may be included in Council’s business paper and provided to the Minister for Local Government.
Submissions closed: 4.30pm Wednesday 13 September 2023.
