Consultation has concluded
Ballina Shire Council is proposing to enter into a Licence Agreement for part of the land known as Ocean Breeze Reserve which is on land classified under the Local Government Act 1993 (‘the Act’) as ‘community’ land. The details are as follows:
Licensee Lennox Community Gardens Incorporated (INC 1501033
Location of Property Part of Ocean Breeze Reserve, Ocean Breeze Drive, Lennox Head (Part of Lot 31 DP787876, as outlined in black on the plan)
Purpose
Operation and management of a community garden. (Note: This is a proposed new licence to the existing licensee)
Term of Licence Four (4) year licence.
As the land is classified as Community Land, in accordance with the provisions of the Local Government Act, interested persons are invited to make a submission below with respect to the granting of the Licence.
Where a submission is an objection, the grounds of objection must be specified. All submissions, including any personal information, will become publicly available and will be made available to the applicant and interested members of the public. Submissions may be included in Council’s business paper and provided to the Minister for Local Government.
Submissions close: 4.30pm Wednesday 3 May 2023.
