Consultation has concluded. 

At its February 2024 Ordinary meeting, Council resolved to adopt the updated Markets on Public Land Policy.

Markets are conducted regularly in various centres in the North Coast Region, reflecting the lifestyle and cultural diversity of our area and, at the same time, providing for an expansion in the region’s tourism base. This policy provides guidelines for those Markets that operate on public land in the Ballina Shire.

The draft policy will be publicly exhibited for 28 days.
