Consultation has concluded
Ballina Shire Council is proposing to grant a Licence for part of land known as Chickiba Sports field, East Ballina, classified under the Local Government Act 1993 (‘the Act’) as ‘community’ land. The details are as follows:
Licensee
Ballina Little Athletics Incorporated
Location of Property
Part of Chickiba sports field and part of the existing sports amenities building, 86 Chickiba Drive, East Ballina (Part of Lot 207 DP 851318).
Purpose
Sports amenities and storage of sports equipment. (Note: This is a new licence to a new licensee)
Term of Licence
One (1) year licence.
As the land is classified as Community Land, in accordance with the provisions of the Local Government Act, interested persons are invited to make a submission below with respect to the granting of the licence.
Where a submission is an objection, the grounds of objection must be specified. All submissions, including any personal information, will become publicly available and will be made available to the applicant and interested members of the public. Submissions may be included in Council’s business paper and provided to the Minister for Local Government.
Submissions close: 4.30pm Thursday 5 October 2023.
