Consultation has concluded
Ballina Shire Council is proposing to enter into a Lease for the new sports building on land known as Wollongbar Sportsfield which is on land classified under the Local Government Act 1993 (‘the Act’) as ‘community’ land. The details are as follows:
Tenant Wollongbar-Alstonville Rugby Club Inc (Y1493123)
Location of Property New sports building located on part of Wollongbar Sports Field, being part of Lot 2 DP1168781, located at 80 Elvery Lane, Alstonville.
Purpose
Sports amenities and sports clubhouse in accordance with Development Consent DA2019/269. (Note: This is a proposed new lease of the new sports amenities building under construction at the Wollongbar Sports Field).
Term of Lease Two (2) year lease.
As the land is classified as Community Land, in accordance with the provisions of the Local Government Act, interested persons are invited to make a submission below with respect to the granting of the lease.
Where a submission is an objection, the grounds of objection must be specified. All submissions, including any personal information, will become publicly available and will be made available to the applicant and interested members of the public. Submissions may be included in Council’s business paper and provided to the Minister for Local Government.
Submissions close: 4.30pm Monday 11 September 2023.
